Spears Host of MTV VMA is intended as a Metaphor for the Rehab of the GOP

She is out there to show a turnaround recovery story.

It is a symbol for the GOP that they can find their way again. It is meant to symbolize Christian Redemption.

Recall Spears, around the time of the Dixie Chicks, said of Bush critics, "People should just shut up and not think they are smarter than the president".

The she strayed into debauchery and it caused her to lose her children and shave her head.

Now she is back to carry on where she blew up. The result?

"while it wasn't the disaster critics agreed her 2007 performance was, Spears didn't rise to the occasion this year either."
