Cheney thinks Palin is 'superb'
Source: AFP

ROME (AFP) — US Vice President Dick Cheney on Monday gave his public backing for Sarah Palin -- the Republican party's first female candidate to be vice president.

Cheney, who is in Rome for talks with Italian leaders, said he watched on television as the 44-year-old Alaska governor addressed the Republican National Convention to nominate John McCain as the party's White House candidate.

"I thought her appearance at (the) convention was superb. I watched that with great interest. I loved some of her lines: 'What was the difference between a hockey mom and a pit bull? It's lipstick,'" he told reporters.

"We have had all kinds of vice presidents over the years and everybody brings a different set of experiences to the office and also a different kind of understanding with whoever the president is," Cheney said.

"Each administration is different. There is no reason why Sarah Palin can't be a successful vice president in a McCain administration."

9. No Surprise
I'm sure Cheney is pushing for Palin with full force. McCain and her match-up echos Cheney's role in the corruption of the Bush Administration today... that is if McCain makes it through his first term. Not to mention the fact that she will most likely be the new spokesperson for BIG OIL if their ticket is elected.

They need to run ads with Cheney praising her and Palin praising Bush. They can't let her be the next Laura Bush. Someone pushing RW politics but above reproach like it was so much post 9/11. Hammer on Palin's economic failures. She's not a pitbull with lipstick, She's Bush/Cheney with lipstick.

I loved some of her lines: 'What was the difference between a hockey mom and a pit bull? It's lipstick,'" he told reporters.

***************

Oooooo...yeah! That line told us so much about who she is! What a line chocked full of info! Of course US citizens and International Leaders are just like hockey-playing kids! She can handle 'em in makeup! It's the kind of adult commentary we need in these troubled times what with wars and the falling dollar and all. More bumper stickers please!!!!!

Personally, I loved her lines about Community Organizers. They were much more informative!

35. Pit bull hockey Moms
Many years ago I did my duty as a hockey Dad and took my son to his hockey practices and games. Many of the parents, Moms and Dads, were there only to provide transportation and cheer their kids on but there were also a good number of both sexes who got carried away with their vicious attitude toward the opposing teams and even other players on their own teams. They reminded me of spectators at cock fights or dog fights, screaming their heads off, gnashing their teeth and hurling obscene remarks. I've even observed hockey Moms on two occasions jump onto the ice and assault the referee. That kind of behaviour contrasted with that of my own parents who, during about 6 years of my participation in the sport of hockey from 10-16 years of age, never took me to a game , or appeared at one as a spectator. They considered it enough to ask about games and give encouragement at arms length, enough so I knew they were interested. At that time no kid wanted their parents there in and moreso if they would have shown up and performed the way the modern day pit bull type do. When Palin glorified the pit bull image in the context of hockey Moms that told me what kind of a vicious arrogant bitch she really is. And believe me I've seen enough of them in action, both male and female.
