Josh Marshall: "You have start the fight. Let the other guy fight back. "
The refrain I always hear from Dems 'they've got to fight back'. But once you're 'fighting back' you're at best holding your own and probably losing. You have start the fight. Let the other guy fight back.

4. Obama won't win by playing it safe, he underperforms when compared
to "generic Democrat" in polls. He played it pretty safe with picking Biden, and that was OK--showed good judgment--but he does need to start going for broke and taking some risks now.

5. Exactly why the Obama campaign has to emphasize that the repukes are lying.
Let the republicans squirm away while lying about how they're not lying. They seem to have the worst body language when forced to respond to that truth, I love watching them squirm as they deny it. It completely underscores what they're saying.

7. I loved Obama's response to Palin attack: "I've been called worse names on the basketball courts."
And he laughed.

8. 100% agreement
It's time to set the tone, establish the frames and bloody a couple noses. They're wrong for America in many ways. Take your pick

"Right" is on our side but I/we're tired of being right and losing. It's time to win.
