(Doesn't that description sound familiar?) All I've heard all day is how McCain has stood up to his party.

A 72 year old man, with a history of cancer, has put an unqualified, extreme fundamentalist a VERY CLOSE heartbeat away from the presidency. So exactly how is this standing up to his party?

The fundamentalists gave us Bush/Cheney.

They are trying to package McCain/Palin as the reform ticket.
As they say, fool me once shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me.

2. I think, he saluted whoever made the decision and said, "Yes Sir!"
McCain did not stand up to his party. After all, the powers behind the power were the ones who manipulated his primary wins to begin with.IMHO

3. "extreme (Pentecostal) fundamentalist' with ties to a secessionist organization, who...
left the village that she oversaw with a huge DEBT even though she used an Abramoff connected lobbyist to gain $27 Mill in Earmarks, and who views Iraq as a messianic war?

MORE OF THE SAME!
