Last Fall, Sylvia Brown (psychic) predicted...

...that Obama would beat Hillary CLinton in the primary, and in turn would win the presidency.

I know a lot of people ridicule psychic stuff, but I prefer to believe she knew what she was talking about!

Somewhere this is on YouTube, but I couldn't find it.

4. A friend told me that last fall
I was just thinking about it this morning. I don't believe in psychics but when she told me, I thought, "oh, please, like that's going to happen. No one is going to beat Hillary." Interesting.

9. If people care what Sylvia Browne says
Then Obama must REALLY be screwed. Seriously. The woman is a massive fraud, and I can't believe that anyone would take her or any other psychic seriously.

10. Sylvia Brown has no idea about ANYTHING. She is a fraud.
She was on a radio show a few years back when those miners were trapped.

The radio host said that the miners were found alive.

Sylvia said she knew they were alive.

Then the horrible news that they were dead came out. The host said that it was breaking news there was a mistake... they weren't alive, they were dead!

Sylvia said she knew they were dead all along.

Sylvia is a snake oil saleswoman.

15. as somone who has psychic abilities, and has witnessed others.. I'll go along!
I'm one of those people... my friends call me the "Ellis Island of the Afterlife." When people die, they often come to see me on their way out... seriously. In my dreams or standing by my bed. My Mom, who is a DUer, can attest to this. The thing is I never KNOW that the person had died until the next day or maybe a few days later. We're talking here about a friend's parent that I hadn't seen in 20 years, an uncle I hadn't seen in decades, etc. And I have this thing where I'll wake up from a dead sleep and someone is standing by my bed, or someone touches me... and I'll find out someone I am connected to, has passed away.

I'm just psychic in many ways... one of those people that will think about someone random and they will appear the next day (alive, though.) Or I will flash on a landslide or plane crash and it will happen that day.

Nothing I can pinpoint enough to be worthwhile, but enough that I believe in some people having a better touch on the energy out there. I had a psychic person tell me something once that was so unbelievable at the time, that I scoffed. Now.. after 10 years.. I am living the exact life she predicted, in the same location and with the person she'd described, right down to the children he brought to the marriage.

Also, years ago met a psychic who was vacationing in Santa Barbara. He was one of those guys that the police would call.. and he'd consulted on a serial killer case in Atlanta. He was eery. As I sat there I had a sharp pain in my side. I did not reach for that spot, nor say anything. He said.. "you just had a pain right here" and pointed to the spot. He also said that I'd been having headaches on the left side, but suddenly it switched to the right recently and I was concerned (true!) He also described my father to me, right down to the chair he used to sit in. People with those abilities do exist.

Now I'm not saying that this Sylvia Brown person is legit -- but I've met enough, and experienced enough to agree. Besides the fact that I WANT to agree! :)

24. I have had psychic experiences also,
such as dreams about airplane crashes, auto crashes and killings. They all happened within a few days of my dreams. Even though I am an atheist, I do believe in psychic abilities. But in my opinion, Sylvia Brown is a fake.

18. Throw enough guesses out there....
...and some of them will be right. It's simple odds. Why don't we ever hear about all the times that "psychics" predict something, and they're completely wrong?

PT Barnum said it best.

22. We got to ask the guy at the Mayflower Book Store in Berkely, MI
He predicted Bill Clinton would win in 1992, at the time of the Gennifer Flowers scandal, when everyone thought he was dead in the water.

I wonder what he thinks of this? I'd go ask him, but some loons keep burning down his bookstore.

26. She is full of shit
Remember the 2006 Sago Mine disaster?

An incident involving Browne on January 3, 2006, on the U.S. radio program Coast to Coast AM with George Noory, is seen by Browne's critics as evidence of her deception and fraud. The incident, which was broadcast live, involved Browne making her predictions for 2006. Browne and Noory were discussing the nature of her psychic premonitions, when Noory brought up the topic of the then unfolding 2006 Sago Mine disaster.

At the time it was believed, due to erroneous news reports, that 12 of the 13 trapped miners had been found alive. When Noory asked Browne if she had had any psychic premonitions regarding the men, she stated that she had known they would be found alive. Later in the program it was revealed that the earlier news reports has been incorrect, and only 1 of the men was now believed to have survived. At this point Browne was alleged to have contradicted her earlier statement, stating that "I don't really think there's anybody alive".

Browne later pointed out that she had never specifically stated that the miners would be found alive, only that they would be found, and that she was referring to the bodies of the dead miners being found. In the October 3, 2007 episode of Coast to Coast, Noory identified this "incident" as the reason he has not invited Browne back to the show since.

But really - there has to be someplace way more "appropriate" for this - One of the other forums???? This place is whacked out enough without dragging Sylvia Browne's idiotc shit in here too.

BTW - take a look at her predictions for 2007: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SmNP6wZJg6A
