CNN is covering the viral youtube of Palin at her pentacostal church

Talking about Iraq being a "task from God" and asking parishioners to "pray" for the Alaska pipeline.

Pretty scathing.

Go CNN!

41. You know, that's not actually a joke.
Her and hubby's AIP group definitely hates America. With Mooselini, it's me first, then Alaska, then Alaska again, then (maybe) my country, if I can shake some cash out of it for Alaska and me.

She is the very opposite of a patriot. She is the very opposite of a Christian. She is the very opposite of an American.

20. Campbell had the same smile on her face
as she did when she was questioning Tucker. CNN probably told her go ahead, have at it. It is so appropriate to give this assignment to her and I am astonished that it made it on to CNN so quickly! This broke on the blogs yesterday, if I'm not mistaken. Uh, I think they have a massive grudge from the Larry King incident.

31. No--McCain backed out of a LK interview to punish
CNN for Campbell Brown's attempt to ask a McCain campaign spokesidiot a question about Palin's foreign policy experience. Tucker Bounds kept trying to weasel out of the question with standard talking points, but Brown wouldn't let him. She kept following up, and the McCain campaign was pissed at her and at CNN because of it.

They are trying to bully the media into more positive handling by threatening to withdraw cooperation. But this, plus refusing to make Palin available for press interviews, has seriously annoyed the media, who are, after all, McCain's base. It is dumb of him to antagonize them--but their corporate masters will keep them from going too far off the reservation.

...they knew her daughter was pregnant and couldn't get a straight answer and kept pressing.

That night McCain cancelled his appearance on Larry King because CNN wasn't fair.

The governor directs the Guard in state-level emergencies, and she hasn't had any yet. Thus, no experience at all.

State paid for trip when Palin told students to pray for pipeline

By RICHARD MAUER

Gov. Sarah Palin used state funds in June when she traveled from Juneau to Wasilla to speak to graduating evangelical students and urge them to fan out through Alaska "to make sure God's will be done here."

BLATANTLY unconstitutional behavior.

32. CNN has covered Palin far more critically than any other news outlet.
And after that lisping jerky Tucker Bounds had his ass handed to him by Campbell Brown, it's pretty clear that the McCain camp decided to kick CNN off the Straight Talk Express.

Good. Take the leash off, CNN.

61. have they truly? I had no idea
Of course, that's because I don't watch CNN. I only watch MSNBC, and the one night I had to watch the Republican convention on basic cable and MSNBC wasn't available, I wasn't too impressed with their lineup of talking heads. They may have been perfectly competent, but they just weren't as engaging, and not even as engaged with each other. I like the back-and-forth arguments and the team feeling from Keith, Gene, Rachel, Chris, and even Pat.

Anyway--it's good to know that CNN has been critical of Palin. Maybe they're trying to get back into the news business.
