Palin requests talks with oil executives

Governor Sarah Palin has requested a conference call this week with the CEO's of the major oil companies playing a role in the potential development of Alaska's natural gas pipeline.

The requested participants include Tony Hayward from BP, James Mulva from ConocoPhillips, Rex Tillerson from Exxon along with others. According to my source, no one knows exactly what the purpose of the call is, but some have never the less speculated.

Last week in her address to the nation, Palin stepped far over the line of truthiness (thanks Steven Colbert) when she told the country, "I fought to bring about the largest private-sector infrastructure project in North American history. And when that deal was struck, we began a nearly forty billion dollar natural gas pipeline to help lead America to energy independence."

Nothing could be further from the truth.

In fact the state has done little more to move the gas pipeline forward over the last twenty months than to grant a Canadian company $500 million to push paperwork with no guarantee a pipeline will be built.

6. THANK YOU ALL
now you got this 66 year old grandma tearing up....please, everyone, we have to save this planet, for my children, grandchildren, and for you and yours....this election is not just about the 'quality of life,' but instead about LIFE AND DEATH ITSELF, all of ours.

If you're not aware, google PNAC, the 1997 political action group of neocons, rumsfield, etc., who all decided BEFORE we invaded Iraq, that we would be doing that and very soon, which is why they ran bush as their figurehead.

Iran is next folks if McCain gets in because he's now sold out to the whole lot, and if that happens, watch the nukes fly because Iran is also aligned now with Russia and China.

THIS IS BIG! This is critical, this is URGENT.

Hugs to you all who care enough about doing something about this.

Now I need to get back to my phone calling for Obama across my own, sorry to say, redneck state of Missouri.

Keep working, keep the faith, and God Bless you ALL!

7. And didn't she oppose efforts to prevent Alaska oil from being exported?
I thought there were efforts to keep it for domestic consumption, which she opposed.
