Do you wear your heart on your sleeve...or on your car and your lawn or on your jacket?
Do you proudly proclaim your support of Obama in some highly visible way? My kids and I went to our local Michael's craft store over the weekend and bought some blank buttons of various sizes. Last night we sat around and printed out some pro-Obama phrases to put in them. The kids put them on their backpacks and I have been wearing one all day.

We have our bumper stickers and I am getting a sign for our lawn. I joined the Obama campaign online and have signed up to go to a meeting of upstate SC Obama supporters next weekend. I am going to make phone calls for Obama in our local area.

We need to all do our part this time around. Last time, I was passionately interested, but I didn't get as involved in REAL ways as I could have. Not this time. I have given money. I am giving time. I am proudly proclaiming my support of Obama in as many highly visible ways as I can.

What other things can we do to show our support to to help this campaign? We all know what is at stake. With the economy where it is, with Iran, Iraq and several SCOTUS justices due to be replaced...We all know what is at stake. We all get on this site and talk about it. What are we DOING about it?

3. In regards to wearing or posting up gear . . .
I don't put an Obama bumper sticker on my car because in my neighborhood your car can be vandalized for no reason and putting something political or even sport related on it would almost guarantee damage of some sort. Now that would piss me off to no end because I would never know who did it.

The thing is, I do want to show my support so I wear an Obama-Biden pin on my work bag so that all can see it when I'm out. This way if anyone has a problem with it they can tell me to my face. I haven't had anyone say anything negative yet but I am anxiously awaiting my first confrontation.

4. I have a yard sign and car magnet
I ordered 2 more signs, but have not received them.

I do confess to taking the magnet off once I arrive at a destination. I don't want it stolen....

5. I put my Obama buttons on
Everyday when I get dressed and my car has an Obama magnet on the driver door. Bumber stickers on my bumber and two Obama signs in my back windows. My car is the Obama mobile. People are always honking at me and giving me thumbs up and yelling O-BAMA at me.LOL

I love it.

6. We are right there with you baby.!
My husband is 6'4'' and he has four Obama shirts. When he is not at work he is a billboard for Obama. Yard signs are out and to date we have given away over 500 buttons and 400 bumper stickers. We wear our buttons everywhere! Yesterday we were in McDonald's and this fellow said that he liked my friends Obama hat. We asked him if he wanted a button and he said that he would like two, one for his brother. This fellow said that he was a marine and a retired police officer. Then he added...'A most unlikely liberal.' It turns out that the other customer at the counter has a son in Iraq and we all had a teary hug. What a way to meet neat people. I have to say that I have never met an Obama supporter that I didn't like. Keep up the work. Peace, Kim
