What would you do if you were the campaign manager?

1. Soundbites and headlines.
Quick hard hitting, and succinct that explain to the low info voters that Obama is in their self-interest, and mcPOW/Caribou Barbie is very much against their self interest.

5. They need to say "McCain was against change before he was
for it". They need to bring up examples of how the McCain campaign is copying everything they do because they never had any fresh ideas on their own. Keep laughing about them (McCain/Palin). Keep saying "They must think you're stupid".

6. Tie Bush to McCain like an anchor and sink him
Which is pretty much what they've been doing.

8. Hit em harder than they ever have been hit before.
This cupcake campaign isn't getting it done. Everyday hit them harder than the day before. This idea of wait they know what their doing, is getting the results that are needed. Get 4 or 5 messages out a day so that gramps and his Ice Princess doesn't know what hit them. Keep McCain on the defense, knock him off the news. All you see is McCain this McCain that where the heck is Obama? A ten second sound bite and that's it. Your not going to win an election if you don't show leadership. Obama has let that slip away.

9. I'll throw out a few suggestions
1. STOP praising McCain and Palin in any way. We know he's a war hero . Obama and Biden don't need to the keep reminding people of his service to the country.

2. Really focus on the economy. Many important states have suffered badly under Bush, like Michigan, Ohio, and Pennsylvania. So focusing on the economy will work throughout the country but particularly well in these states.

Those are the only two keys to winning I can think of off the top of my head.

11. 1. Obama attacks more, but doesn't look like a hypocrite in style
Edited on Mon Sep-08-08 04:51 PM by mvd
2. Unleash Biden. His attack dog abilities were a big selling point.
3. Get other attack dogs out there like Hillary, Begala, Boxer, Sebelius, Kerry, Kucinich, Carville, etc.
4. Keep showing discipline - don't just throw any mud out there yet. Save that for if McCain is up 10 a month from now
5. LOTS of debate preparation
