Help fact checking banned books?
Please forgive me if this is a dupe. We've gotten an email from several sources with a very long list of books Palin tried to ban, including some one would expect like Daddy's Roomate and Harry Potter, but also Twelfth Night, the Webster's Collegiate Dictionary. Does anybody have a link to a definitive source? Thanks.

2. It's been debunked.
You can check it out on snopes. I don't believe Palin got as far as listing books she wanted banned.

5. It's a fake list. The book list was never specified. She just asked the librarian
if she was open to book censorship. The librarian said no and Palin tried to fire her.

However, if you want an idea of what books Palin would burn then just google Assemblies of God book burning and see what they like to burn. Their book burning lists are extensive and well documented on the web.

6. That may be a list of books that HAVE been banned, nothing to do with Palin.

From what I've read, Palin asked the librarian if she would remove books from the library if Palin disapproved of them. Palin didn't like the answer and fired the librarian. The firing didn't stick because of public outcry in defense of a very popular librarian.

That she even asked still shows that Palin is dictatorial and disrespects the constitution and the people of the this country. She thinks she is better than anyone else. If that isn't elitist, I don't know what is.
