21. that's a second tier cabinet position and no powerful Senator
would give up a safe seat for it. Anyway, Howard Dean, M.D. is far more qualified. He actually implemented innovative health care programs and he he's successfully run large organizations.

It would be whacked from all sides as presumptuous.

15. So, we have video of Rover saying picking Kaine as a governor

would be a horrible move and that Kaine didn't have enough experience.

What the diff does it make what they say, they don't live up to their own chatter - it is about garnering favor from the voters, offering a presidency that makes more voters happy than their presidency can, it is not about pleasing the press and/or the political bobble heads.

So do not lecture me about being a "troll". I was an early supporter of Mr. Obama.
I am expressing reservations about the way he is running his campaign.

He has about the same approval as Palin does according to Rasmussen.

presumptuous for him to do something like that and Hillary isn't jobless, she's a US Senator from NYS.

10. Um, doesn't Hillary get a say in this?
She'd have more power in the Senate, so why do you assume she'd jump for a Cabinet spot?

14. How about Homeland Security?
It's far down the line of succession, but it is one of the defining security posts in the cabinet. She would definitely be in the spotlight.

23. A bad idea in many ways
1. Naming cabinet secretaries now gives too many targets and is a distraction. The focus should be on Obama-Biden vs McCain-Palin, NOT on others.
2. We need as many Senators as possible--hopefully we'll get to 60 without holy Joe. The success of an Obama administration may depend on having a filibuster-proof Senate. To risk any seat is nuts.
3. She might well reject it--senator is a higher profile position than cabinet secretary.
4. Senator plays to her strengths--policy wonkishness, and not her weaknesses, like administration.
5. It's unnecessary--we're already winning back the Hillary voters big time as they do NOT like Palin.

25. How would you feel about a comment from Obama saying: I wish Hillary was available to serve
on my cabinet if I'm elected? My objective is a sincere reciprocal pat on the back from each of them for each of them.

Their mutual support seems rather empty to me.
