2. Noit much of a bounce for McCain
All of the polls being released at this time appear to have been taken during the post convention "Bounce" period, and only the Gallup/USA show anything significant which tends to suggest it's an outlier.

5. Talk about a dead cat bounce!
USAToday/Gallup looking more and more like a big fat outlier by the minute.

6. That's better than the Gallup poll.
So it's a tie? If so then that is good.
As long as McCain is not leading.

9. It's a tie AFTER the bounce
Edited on Mon Sep-08-08 04:20 PM by IWantAnyDem
If trends hold true, McCain starts dropping in the polls by Wednesday.

This is not good news for McCain. It tends to suggest his choice in Palin was seen through as the gimic he intended and he now has an albatross tied to his neck.

7. McCain is getting his bounce like Obama got his, now Obama will begin to gain again.
