ABC News/WashPost: White Women Flocking to McCain After St. Paul


Monday, September 8th, 2008

Latest poll out Monday finds:
Among white women: McCain 53, Obama 41

Ahead of conventions, among same group: Obama 50, McCain 42.

Horserace numbers also find the two in a dead heat: Obama 47, McCain 46.

5. my point is, they're always rounding up or down and then going on about
exact differences - a 1-pt lead! a 4-pt lead! Gallup's tracking poll graphs would have you believe the numbers always fall on exact %ages.

4. When women find out that Palin is against their own interests, that will change.
I rather doubt hearing Palin's views of opposing abortion in NO circumstances, even in the cases of rape and incest, will endear those women who have gone to McCain.
