Chris Matthews is killing the McCain surrogate on MSNBC
right now. I can't believe it. He questions him on abortion, the bridge to nowhere, creationism. Says the Republicans are trying to change this into a cultural war by saying who's more like you and do you want them in the White House. Go Chris!!!!

4. Tweety said that Palin believes in creationism and not
evolution and asked the McCain guy if he believes in creationism too? The guy would not answer.

12. He said, when you took biology, science and chemistry school, did you believe it?
The guy was like, "I'm not running for office."

3. And he called them on the "community organizer" slur for what it is - racial politics
I loved it when he pressed him on what issues she had in common with Hillary Clinton. He's doing a great job.

6. He asked the Rethug if he was taught science in school and
if he believed it or creationism. The guy was so dumfounded he had to turn to Obama's surrogate and ask him to answer the questions. It's about time they were called out on their outright lies.

13. Isn't it lovely to see them stutter and stammer when they are
pulled off their talking points. They really don't know anything about her. She is so far to the right it is almost fanatical.

Unless he follows up and smashes with this, he is just advertising, and as if most have 7 houses. So he uses cultural.

14. Hmm..maybe that's why they cut him (and Keith) loose from the anchor chair...
So they can be more effective before the fact...rather before it's too late.

20. Good point, bobbiejo. They don't have to treat the Moose Barbie with kid gloves.
Sarah Barracuda can dish it out, but can't stand the heat in the kitchen. Great backup for McCain, don't you think? She would be a perfect puppet for the Cheney people.

16. Chris is old school...
He believe elections should be about ideas - issues - where a party plans on taking our nation - NOT on personalities.

Today was a very good day - unless you're a Pailin apologist that is...

At the end of this interview he literally backed down on every hard question he asked.

So much for that I guess.

24. the thing that's sad is
Tweety has the capacity to do this so well, but he doesn't do it consistently. He picks favorites and lets them off the hook, or guesses which way the wind is blowing, rather than do what a good journalist is supposed to do every day on the job.
