Check this out! Charlie Gibson is asking for questions on the ABC site for his upcoming Palin interview, and someone named Linda left this comment:

I wish that ABC had not chosen to post these suggested questions on its website, since they have basically provided the McCain campaign with a primer for the interview. Also, the two day format is usually reserved for "celebrity" interviews, and makes it much more likely that her handlers will control the interview.

Perhaps that is a good place to start: Why does someone who is running for the second highest office in the country, and who could potentially become the leader of the free world, need to be tutored, sequestered and have interviews controlled by handlers? Will her handlers travel with her to the Middle East to negotiate a peace treaty?

Ask her why the potential VP/Pres of the US didn't understand what Fannie Mae or Freddie Mac are. Does she begin to understand the dynamics, simple and complexes, of the economy?

Also, ask her why "executive experience" whatever that is (perhaps she will define it for us), trumps intellect, judgment and temperament?

Lastly, I also have watched World News Tonight forever, but will stop if this interview turns out to be a "puff piece". Please ask the woman substantive questions about policy. Now that McCain has made his cynical and strictly political choice, we MUST know whether she is even remotely qualified.

Will you be asking Sarah how to make Caribou Stew? Or how to field dress a Moose? Or how about her association with AIP, even though she has said she was never a member. Even though there is evidence out there that show that is a lie. Ask her how many lies she has told since she stepped off the plane in Ohio, because I have lost count. Ask her how she gets to decide what's right for every woman in the country. What gives her that right??
