The excitement about Pit Bull Palin is fading as truth about her
is starting to surface. The fact is that she is a liar, a phony & an extremist wack Fundie Nut case. The extreme Rwing & the Rwing Christo-Fascist Nuts will love her forever. This will be obvious to most in America soon.

I've watched her and she is smooth. Comes off as warm and funny and smart and down-to-earth. I think you're dismissing her too easily.

8. She's a fucking twit with about as much substance as a marshellow, but
the love affair is most certainly not fading. I'm not sure what the poster here is talking about or what polls they are reading.

The corporate media LOVE her, but it's not her. They would have loved ANY choice the Republicans made for VP. On her own merits, she isn't shit. She doesn't deserve to breathe, and she isn't even qualified to work for my local fucking newspaper, much less be president.

You are right. She is smooth. She's got a wonderful, extroverted personality and
a good sense of humor. However, she's also a Fundie nutjob who believes that abortion
should be outlawed in all cases, even in rape or incest and she also wants Creationism
taught in schools. She doesn't believe that global warming is man made.

Obama has to stick to policies. McCain will try to make this about personality.

The success of this election depends on which candidate camp makes the most convincing
argument to the American people--and in particular, to Independent voters.

The OP said that soon all of America would realize it. I don't think so. And the reason they won't realize it is that she is so smooth. Her RW ideas get edged off to the side while she comes across as a hockey-mom who -- gosh darnit -- just wanted to make her kids' school better. I realize a lot of DU'ers have a visceral hate reaction going on, but you can't make the mistake of projecting that hatred onto the rest of the country.

I am not defending Palin on issues/policies. But I can recognize that she makes a good package. And to dismiss her so easily -- and more imporantantly, to assume the whole country will dismiss her so easily -- is just plain wrong.

as the campaign progresses and people learn what she's really about. There are some very ugly truths about Palin that aren't getting much attention yet, but they will. I honestly think her wise-ass comments and sophomoric sarcasm are going to hurt McSame in the long run.

23. I am basing my "wishful thinking" on the facts that are starting
to surface about her actions as Mayor & Gov. She is a corrupt, Rwing Extremist. Swing voters will not vote for her or McBush once they really know what these two stand for. In a way this was a good choice that McBush made, for Dems, that is. It will consolidate the Dems of America to vote against the Rethugs en mass.

She is snide, she has so little command of the issues that she hasn't thought about the Iraq war, she's a habitual liar, she is corrupt, she believes in banning books, she openly favors basing our laws off of her way out beliefs, and she is an extremist that can only see the light of day because of her plumbing.
