to McCain's 200. My point for everyone to remember is Obama don't forget is fighting a ground game for electorial votes not popular vote. So hang in there.

3. The Earth Where 270 Is The Magic Number?
until we've reached that magic number on November 4, 2008 - I'm not taking anything for granted. We're dealing with the lying, stealing, fucks known as the republican party.

Right now - in battleground state of Colorado - I see 2 or 3 of McCain's ugly ass ads against Obama ever commercial break, vs the 1 singing James Taylor ad I see for Obama.

At least they need to step up their ad buys in so-called battleground states.

7. It is NOT going to be a "walk" ...
or a blowout, or whatever ...

Not going to be like that IF, god willing, he wins.

11. In 2004, lots of people I know didn't vote because they just assumed Kerry would win
Treating this like a done deal will only lead people to believe they don't need to show up at the polls, just like 2004. I worked with a few college-age voters who were shocked out of their minds when Bush won, since Kerry was guaranteed to win.

10. electoral-vote.com shows a bigger lead than that: 301- 224
Still, no reason to be over-confident - even if Noonan did say it was "over" and she meant for their side, not ours. I think it's always best to play like it's a tight game. You never know what the other side is going to do later. Kerry "lost" in 2004 with money left in his coffers. Shameful (although I do think the election was stolen in Ohio). No reason to leave any ammo in storage this time.

15. He couldn't spend that money. Plus, we couldn't put back the people who walked.
Ask Carville why he told the GOP about the plan to have counted all the provisionals-our only legal mechanism-only to have them disappear.

We know too much now to just blame Kerry. We ALL need to get on this, help your state, check for purges, and tekkies need to be employed as poll workers/technicians on site by the states or the companies. Like Diebold.
