The latest McCain Commercial...He fought the republicans..She fought the republicans
I could not believe what I was watching.. Are there no republicans running? I am not kidding, that was actually in the commerical, how McCain fought the republicans in DC and how Palin fought the republicans in Alaska. Also Palin lied about the bridge to nowhere in the commerical.

But nowhere did either one of those "mavericks" say anything about battling the Democrats. I kid you not. It sounds like we are fighting another branch of the Democrats.

Will this really sell with the republicans in the long run??

It's a pretty good strategy. They know many Republicans are too dumb to notice they're being hogwashed.

27. Republicans make up 28% of registered voters. Many of them can't even admit
Edited on Mon Sep-08-08 07:10 PM by Miss Chybil
they are Republicans. SO, if some Republicans come along and claim they are NEW Republicans, it makes all the OLD Republicans feel like they too can be NEW and not like the BAD OLD guys. I'm sure to some it's kind of like getting saved and having all their sins washed away. They feel guilty about what they've done to this country and now they want everyone to believe they can now somehow be different.

11. McCain campaign calls in broken arrow air strike on own position.
Republicans attack their own in desperate bid to survive. Will America really believe this shit? Not if we pin them to the wall and make them own their past.

13. Has there ever been a campaign that both it top and second
on the ticket, ran against the party they were supposed to represent. Oh we gotta make some hay out of this one. It is too good to pass. And it has gone national, not an internet commerical. Who is running their campaign goof troop?

mcsame with bush about 7 times and in his own words stating he voted with bush "90%" of the time:bounce:

But, Team Obama could do an ammendment with the ads superimposed and let mccain's own words brand them as Liars.

17. McCain-Palin running against the GOP is like Osama bin Laden running against Al Qaeda.
It's that absurd.

The public is suppose to believe that the GOP nominated someone to CHANGE how the GOP ran the country the past 8 years. By continuing the Iraq war. By continuing the Bush tax cuts for his wealthy base. By doubling down on more fascism at home.

29. "He fought the republicans, she fought the republicans, so why vote republican? "
This should be the biggest ad buy of the Obama campaign. It is short and memorable and irrefutable without endlessly detailed explanations.

It is a gift comparable to "I voted for it before I voted against it." It could dominate the discussion all the way to November.

Which is it John, were you wrong about Bush or were you lying to the American people?

Then maybe follow up with a statement like "if your party is so correct, why the hell do you have to fight them on everything?" Just vote Democrat and you don't have to worry. We like pissing them off, much more than Sarah and John.
