Andrew Sullivan hasn't posted since early yesterday afternoon.

Andrew Sullivan hasn't posted since early yesterday afternoon.
He's been the most well-read and vocal critic of Palin. Has he been cowed?

His last two posts are a little frighteningly cryptic; a "your move, McCain" post and another of flowers blocking up a window. :tinfoilhat: And when Sullivan takes a break, he always has hilzoy and others fill in for him. He has a rather large staff that posts in his absence as well.

Say what you will about Sullivan through the years, but he's been a major voice for Obama this year. What is going on at The Atlantic?

... Ambinder's post doesn't make sense. Sullivan always gives his readers a heads-up when he's taking time off, and his staff and other prominent bloggers like hilzoy step in to keep up the pace.

The whole thing is bizarre. Maybe it's nothing. But... :tinfoilhat:

12. He has, but he always has others fill in for him, and always gives his readers...
... a heads-up that he's taking some time off.

It could be that he's just "upset" or has been reprimanded somehow, but don't forget that Sullivan has the thickest skin of any high-traffic blogger out there. His absence is deafening, and unusual.

Thank you for your many emails of concern. For the record, I'm absolutely fine, nothing has changed with this blog, no one is pressuring me to write or not write anything, and I spent part of the day yesterday with my husband soaking up the last moments of summer together.
