2. Colorado is the biggie
If we can grab that state probabilities are overwhelmingly in Obama's favor from there.

14. PA & MI are expected b/c Kerry took them in 2004
However, I read an article recently which gave a 5% probability of McCain winning the election if Obama won CO and all the 04 Kerry states, because Obama just has to pick off one other state that is already leaning favorably (i.e. the western states like NV)

16. The key is Kerry states + IA and NM.
That puts him at 264 electoral votes. Any one of CO, OH, VA, FL or MO would put him over the top.

If he gets Kerry states plus IA & NM, McCain would need to win all of those states I mentioned above, plus Nevada.

The only thing iffy about getting Kerry + IA & NM is NH. If early on Barack has NH and VA or NH and FL or NH and OH, go ahead and pop the cork. Otherwise, keep it on ice until you hear the call for CO.

11. We're On The Phone, Ground, Everywhere
registering, calling. I worry about those "unaffiliated" voters. Man, I hate calling them - so wishy washy in their ability to make a decision. They honestly think they are special, when in reality - they let the rest of us make their decisions for them by participating in the caucuses, while they sit at home and have the audacity to think they are "independent".....NO, NO, NO - these people are indecisive and rather rude.

They are not special - by not participating in the first step - they are not participating in the democratic process. "unaffiliated" is the correct term for these folks - which is what the state of Colorado lists them as.

3. Last Pa poll I saw Obama was up 5. I didn't think that was
realistic, at least not for south central PA.

5. Pretty sweet.
We're in good shape, considering that we're still in McCain's highest polling period for the entire year.

Imagine how nice things'll look when the numbers return to earth in a week or two. :)

15. NV looks good in my family -- Palin switched 2 over to Barack!!
Both Hill supporters in their 70s, but one was going to sit it out and one was voting McCain.....BOTH ARE HORRIFIED WITH PALIN!
