6. but if ALL of the "major" third party candidates will be there...
it's hard to believe that he is endorsing one of them. Why would Nader or McKinney care if Paul endorses Barr?

8. He'll endorse McCain. For all of his blather, Paul
will come back to the Rs because he loves his job and wants to keep it.

9. CNN says...
"Paul, who unsuccessfully sought the Republican presidential nomination, will tell supporters he is not endorsing GOP nominee John McCain or Democratic nominee Barack Obama, and will instead give his seal of approval to four candidates: Green Party nominee Cynthia McKinney, Libertarian Party nominee Bob Barr, independent candidate Ralph Nader, and Constitution Party candidate Chuck Baldwin, according to a senior Paul aide."

10. It will not be McCain or Obama -- urge to vote for anyone but them
http://www.chron.com/disp/story.mpl/front/5992258.htmlWASHINGTON — Ron Paul, the libertarian-leaning, Houston-area congressman who waged a feisty Republican primary campaign for president, is expected on Wednesday to urge supporters to reject the two major-party candidates and vote for any of the four minor-party contenders on the November ballot.

"The two parties and their candidates have no real disagreements on foreign policy, monetary policy, privacy issues, or the welfare state," Paul is expected to say at a news conference in Washington, according to an advance copy of his remarks obtained by the Houston Chronicle.

15. I'm gonna assume the worst--McCain/Palin
Don't know why but I've just got a bad feeling about this.

Ron Paul opposed the Iraq war and is strong on Constitutional protections but he's also in favor of making abortion illegal. My guess is he'll throw the antiwar Paulites and Constitutionalists under the proverbial bus.

But I could be wrong.

17. Paul says to vote for anyone - even write in - just don't vote for Obama or McCain
That's pretty much what I expected - we all knew his people would end up going to Barr and a couple other fringe parties. This isn't exactly surprising since he's a nutcase - at least he didn't endorse McCain.
