Don't back down on the "lipstick on a pig" issue, and FIGHT HARD on this issue. Link the "lipstick on a pig" to the failure of the Iraq war, and McCain refusing to acknowledge the war was wrong, the failure of McCain on housing, education, the economy, and health care!

I hope this is a good sign

but I do agree, he needs to come back HARD and emotionally about that disgusting sex ed ad. I sometimes get concerned Obama comes off as too cerebral, which smacks of "elitism", and in this case, he'd be well-served to be a bit more passionate, emotional and indignant in his response to their outrageous claims.

It's a delicate line to walk, not playing into the "angry black man" meme, but I do believe he needs to answer this latest smear forcefully.

Obama HAD to realize that McCain would go directly from "Obama described Palin's explanation of her flip-flop on 'The Bridge to Nowhere' as lipstick on a pig" to "Obama called Palin a pig"--and I think that's EXACTLY why he said it that way. Also keep in mind that Sarah sees herself as a pit bull in lipstick!
