Do low information voters even know what Lobbyists do?
One of our attacks to discredit McCain's "maverick" campaign is to highlight his close ties to Lobbyists.

But I am wondering if truly uninformed voters even know why this is bad.

Maybe Obama needs a little A-B-C session on who lobbyists are and why their interests often collide with those of the average American.

2. I bet they "know" lobbyists == "bad."
Sort of like they "know" tax-cuts == "good." and "big govt" == "bad," etc.

5. Lobbyists=special interests=bad.
That might be the best way to frame it to LIVs.

8. It's bad because McCain claims to oppose special interests (lobbyists)
but he hires those same lobbyists to run his campaign. It undermines his credibility.
