Rep. Mary Fallin had an affair with an Oklahoma State Trooper
Edited on Wed Sep-10-08 04:36 PM by GrizzlyMan
I just wanted to point this out since she is unfortunately my congresswoman and is now on Tweety's show shilling for Palin. The affair took place several years ago, while she was Lt. governor and it was one of the worst kept secrets in this state.

3. But she knows in her soul when she is being attacked as a woman!
Therefore she knows when Obama is speaking metaphorically about a third person.

She's an idiot.

13. I actually don't have a huge problem with Coburn
I don't agree with him on anything, and he is a whack job to be sure, but he does have some personal and professional ethics. Meanwhile, Inhofe denies global warming and then takes $400,000 in campaign contributions from oil companies who have a vested intrest in poo-pooing global warming. Inhofe also sued his own brother.

Coburn and Obama actually worked together on legislation during the last 4 years.

4. She's a fool.
Basically saying that since Palin made the lipstick comment in a PRIME TIME speech, she somehow OWNS the word LIPSTICK and all its references. :eyes:

Fucking get over yourselves, pukes.

7. In this state? You gotta be kidding
The media here wouldn't dare report this. The make Fox look left wing. There was a whisper campaign during her last race that went on. I know of it because the trooper whom she had the affair with is a friend of a close friend of mine who also happens to be a trooper. It's common knowledge here for folks who follow local gossip.

12. Who needs a blogger? It's common knowledge in Oklahoma
Shoot, even the 'pugs know all about it. Problem is, they vote for her anyway.

11. Except for the Oklahoma Gazette
:)

Although, your point is still quite valid. There are probably 50 times the readers of the Daily Disappointment than those of the Gazette.

And the airwaves--both radio and TV--are stuffed with wingnut trash. As recently as 1996, KFOR news had a "feature" called "Jungle Love". Basically, they showed how rich white men would go down to places like South America and buy a bride, bring her back to the states, and give her a "proper Christian home." The poor woman would have to be *cough* so thankful that she would be willing to become the man's servant for life. :puke: I should have taped it--it was the most appalling thing I've ever seen on TV news.

10. Here. Associated Press covered it.
Court brief alleges Fallin consulted psychic, kissed trooper

OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- An attorney for Lt. Gov. Mary Fallin raised questions today about the relationship of Mrs. Fallin's estranged husband and the couple's 11-year-old daughter as a judge heard testimony to determine who should have temporary custody of the Fallins' two children.
The Fallins are embroiled in a divorce case that has brought allegations Mrs. Fallin had an affair with her state trooper bodyguard. The trooper has denied an affair with the lieutenant governor.

Mrs. Fallin, who filed for divorce three weeks ago, has charged that her husband mentally and physically abused her and had used drugs.
Her attorney, Lana Tyree, referred to a court-appointed guardian's report she said included a passage about a ''unnatural relationship'' between Dr. Joe Fallin and the couple's daughter.

The guardian, attorney Phil Tucker, said the actual quotation in his report was ''emotionally inappropriate relationship'' between Fallin and the daughter. He said the quote was made by an acquaintance of the couple during an interview.

Tucker said that while he was concerned, he had no evidence of the validity of the quotation.
