I saw an Obama button on someone in Toronto today

I was in the Eaton Centre (main downtown mall) and as I turned getting off the escalator, I saw a woman wearing a big blue Obama button. I did a double-take, stopped and said "I'm for Obama too!" and asked if she was American. She is, and as it turns out, also from Connecticut, in my part of the state.

It kinda made up for the incredible Easter egg hunt from one Rogers (cable, wireless megalith )store to four more before I could access a replacement for a broke-down remote for my DVR. Everyone wanted to sell me a cell phone contract. But as I already HAVE a cable bill arriving regularly, they have no supplies, and no interest in my need. I even got incorrect addresses for the stores from the company's customer service line.

The downtown stores aren't listed in the phone book either.

I was at the Caribana Festival and there were tons of Democrats Abroad volunteer trying to get Americans living in Canada to vote.

I chipped in and ordered the 20 pack of Obama buttons so I could share them with neighbors. Sadly, I'm still waiting for them and getting impatient since they sent an email telling me they should be here in about 10 days......that was almost a month ago :(
