We need more Palin posts, forget about healthcare, the WAR, Rebuilding the Middle class
Edited on Wed Sep-10-08 11:26 PM by FogerRox

You know the real important stuff...

HELLO DU, they want us to behave like this. When do we get back to the real issues of our day..

When > Nov 5th ?

Does DU and D-kos need a Palin Patrol... sure, but not to forsake these issues of our day. DO we need to keep up the pressure on the Main Stream Media to cover the hypocrisy of McCain & Palin, sure.. most certainly.

I drive a taxi, today I had a unaffiliated voter with a big Libertarian streak in my cab, a regular customer. She told me she was impressed by Obama saying he wont go after Palins family..

She said "it would be nice to have that for 8 years".

Vigilance & restraint.

Roger Fox
Essex field coordinator Tom Wyka for Congress.

EDIT :
I prefer going after the repubs on all fronts, all the issues, Palin included.

1. I get your point.
This is the thing: we have had so little "good news" these last eight years, and we are under the illusion that Palin represents a victory for the Dems. We've been wrong before, about so many apparent fuckups by the repukes, but Palin makes us hopeful & we rejoice. Forgive.

4. Palin could be the gift that repeats. But drilling ANWR, Green collar jobs
all the other host of issues have been tossed aside, I seek balance. We need to stay on the Palin story like stink on poop, with balance.

Vigilance & Restraint.

9. Well, I do agree.
It's unfortunate that we on DU are sometimes quoted, yes? I've said myself that there's enough crap in her record to rejoice about without bringing up her marriage, her kids, her family life and her near-title as a beauty queen. But, DAMN! As a female from the west, she is such a freaking stereotype. It's hard to be civil.

2. Drill Baby Drill has taken on new meaning over at Interior.
In bed with Big Oil is not their favorite spin of "Drill Baby, Drill." Stories just keep happening.

5. First off .....
Nothing is stopping you or anyone else from posting whatever subject matter you wish to post, within the posting rules of the forum ...

Second: Take one finger, and place it into a breaking wave ....

Try to stop each and every H2O molecule with that finger ....

Nuff said ...

11. Join the Palin Patrol, Serve your country
@ DU & D-Kos other big stories or original posts just drop. I hope for balance. Palin looks to drag the ticket down faster than McCain got shot down, and the Palin stories need to be followed, MSM pressure to expose her hypocrisy.

Vigilance.

10. Her existence on the scene also angers many greatly
she is the perfect example of much of what we have to battle against.

I'm a fan of the crush and brush off method on her as well and prefer to smash McCain for being the worst pandering sellout of all time.

McCain makes Uncle Tom look like Malcolm X.

stake this election. We have issues and matters that concern real Americans to fight for- health care, Social Security, our national security, Afghanistan where the real war on terror is and where al Qua da has gone, Employment, jobs going overseas, the economy, women's rights..etc. Rove and company have tricked us into going off our game- taking our eye off the prize, but we need to wake up and start defending the Obama campaign - the real campaign for change. Palin is George Bush with a skirt and we do not need another Bushie anywhere near the White House. The best way to fight her is to keep pressure on the media to vet her and cover the real issues in this campaign. We need to be attacking the ideals, direction and the policies of both McCain and Palin. They offer more of the same and no change. That is why the Mccain camp and his Rove advisers are doing everything they can to encourage this Palin diversion.

16. It is the Palin diversion. , but Its very likely Palin will do a flame out
Like MCcains 3rd plane he crashed.

I think we, the liberal blogosphere, could keep a better balance. WE do have to stay on top of the Palin stories, but lets not forget other things that are import too.

"The best way to fight her is to keep pressure on the media to vet her "

Absolutely.
