Remember: This Is John McCain's Last Chance
Lets not get to caught up in the lies and distortion without remembering the reason for them. He will not run for President again after this. The age issue is borderline now and in 4 years it will be over the top. He is pulling an all out, do whatever it takes to win. If he loses he doesn't really lose. He goes back to his day job with the admiration of other Republicans for running a shitty, deceptive, hateful campaign or maybe he retires. (dare we dream?) Either way Republicans admire him.

When you are told you have 60 days to live, as John McCain has been told that November 4th is the end of his lifelong Presidential dream, what are you going to do? We know what John McCain is going to do. Hes going to open the Pandora's Box on this campaign. Everything that was perceived honorable or respectable about him is not worth saving at this point in his eyes. He gave someone the go ahead to let it all out and since he is so shitty at speaking he grabbed the Republican Barbie to do it for him.

This is not about Sarah Palin for Sarah Palins sake. This is about Sarah Palin being used by John McCain to create a false excitement about him and about his party. It is a deceptive move to prey on those who may still be afraid to vote for Obama, or those on the fence. He didn't chose Sarah Palin because she is a 'maverick', he chose her because she was his last best chance to create some excitement in his campaign, the last Presidential campaign that he will ever run in his life. He is trying his best, with his 72 year old legs, to sprint to the finish line. On his way there he grabbed the cheerleader to help him get across the rope.

I wish someone in the media would bring up the reason for his campaigns tactics. Not that he may only run for one term but that after this election if he loses he will not run again. He knows that and he is letting it all out.

switched parties in 2000 or so, and ran as a democrat in 2004. Could you have imagined a McCain/Anyone (maybe Powell) ticket in 2004 against Bush/Cheney? Come on! Are we talking like landslide or what? But then be became reformed and that was the end.

4. Americans are used to seeing a pretty face in an advertisement,
focusing on the model and not the product, in this case, for a worn out old troll who has outlived his political usefulness.

They use this technique because it works and the American psyche is conditioned to respond to it.
