Response from the WaPO regarding possible scrubbed story

I just received the following response from WaPo regarding my concerns about a possible scrubbed story:

involving John McCain and his wife, Cindy. Alternatively, I have heard that you may be withholding information

I have been a loyal reader of the Post in print and on line. If it were true that you were doing such a thing, I
can assure you that I would no longer buy the paper or view it on line or patronize any of your sponsors. I would
also let your sponsors know exactly why I am no longer patronizing them.

The question is, what are you hiding, and why?

They have a story.

And, is it going to be something old, something new, something borrowed or something blue?

to the opinions that maybe they're getting more ammo (and covering their asses) before the print it.

Great letter, by the way! And I have to give kudos to the WaPo - many wouldn't have responded at all.

People are raging, but WaPo is at least letting them have at it.
