Lets Stay Focused Folks

We all know that a cornered rat is a most dangerous rat. Well, McLame is a cornered rat. We need to act accordingly. The GOP was never just going to roll over because our guy can draw a crowd.

Everyone needs to keep working and do what they can. Phonebank. Write letter to the editor. Canvass. Grab your neighbor by the collar and educate them. YOU and I are going to be the ones to drag Obama across the finish line. YOU and I are going to be the ones to go to the polls and refuse to let GOP operatives pull their shit. YOU and I are going to be the change that we want to see.

We are not going to lose this election to a pooh butt moosehunter from Nowhere, Alaska. We are not going to lose to a cretin who lost any honor he may have had long ago. We are not going to lose to lipstick, or bridges to nowhere, or faux outrage about sexism.

Am I nervous about the last couple of weeks? Sure I am. After what we have witnessed over the past 7+ years, the criminality, the theft of our democracy, the outright derelection of duty of the media, who wouldn't be scared.

But we cannot lose. We cannot. We owe it to our children and grandchildren, we owe it to the rest of the world, we owe it to OURSELVES to work like the devil to see this victory through. That goes for each and every one of us.

Take a deep breath, look in the mirror and dedicate yourself to securing the Presidency, not for the Democratic Party, but for the Constitution, and for the restoration of the REAL American values enshrined in the Declaration of Independence. Do it because America needs every single one of us now as she cries out for change.

I'm scared too. But I am more scared of what could happen if I don't get my ass to helping Barack win. So off to work I go.

Keep fighting, keep believing, keep knowing that the forces of justice will not be denied this time. That we will not cave to lies. That we will give as good as we get, no quarter asked or given.

Godspeed to every one of you. We don't need permission. Let's take the battle to them.
