Obama has been given hell about wearing a flag pin.

Apparently, McCain doesn't even have to wear one because he was a POW.

Now, Palin repeatedly wears the Alaska pin and is not even questioned.

Where do her loyalties lie? Is she Alaskan first or American?

1. W. H. A. T????!!!!!
I can't see anything but a little lapel rectangle in that picture - is there another that makes it clearer? This ought to be an election-killer, in a rational world.

Especially when I Googled it and the only thing I could find was on Drudge.... ;)

It is a well known fact that she displays the flag of Israel in her office. When, in her speech and her interview, she wore a pin that resembled it and in which the red blue star border (which she wears improperly, btw) was not visible, it was a logical stretch to think she was wearing the Israeli flag.

We really can't afford to be this touchy. There's a lot worse coming from the other side.

The Alaskan flag is blue.

That is even STRANGER to me. Especially over the "Obama doesn't wear the flag on his lapel, so he hates America" flap.

edited to remove my apparently incorrect belief of which flag she was wearing. Sorry I offended.

6. They probably have planned that *if* they win, they will have a ceremony...
...wherein McCain will pin the US flag on her, symbolizing her ascent from governor of Alaska to Vice-President of the United States.

It'll look like high school with the captain of the football team pinning the head cheerleader. Then it'll be off to the "prom" (Inauguration Day parties).
