Why Not Knowing The Bush Doctrine Matters A Lot
It matters because it shows that she does not follow nor take an interest in foreign affairs. Hell, I've known about the Bush doctrine since 2002. If you'd have watched any news and information show regarding foreign policy or attended a lecture or read a book or an article on foreign policy, or had any serious foreign policy discussion, surf the internet since 2002, YOU WOULD HAVE KNOWN WHAT THE BUSH DOCTRINE IS. Also, IT'S THE BEDROCK FOREIGN POLICY PHILOSOPHY BEHIND THE WAR IN IRAQ.

Not knowing what the Bush doctrine is shows me that this person is nothing more than an empty vessel wherein people are projecting their own egotistical view of themselves. "She's a mom like me, so she is good". "She hunts like me so yeah she can be president".

If the McCain/Palin ticket wins, this country is doomed because it will prove that ignorance, mass ignorance, has the power, and no nation can survive mass ignorance.

4. I agree
The fact that the media is letting this pass shows just what kind of trouble we are really in.

6. Then, We May Be At A Critical Mass of Ignorance
If so, there's no fighting it. There's no reasoning with it, and there's no hope.

7. I actually think she knows exactly what the Bush Doctrine is
I didn't get the chance to watch it, but did read the transcript.

"Pre-emptive" defense (whatever the fuck that is) - see Isreal/Iran

"Cold War" boogie man - see Russia/Georgia

"God's War" - see Iraq

They know full well that any and every time they are associated with Bush directly is a negative for them. They're espousing the same bs.

"You can put lipstick on a pig, but it's still a pig"

8. Palin is nothing but another Bush-like Ideologue.
She has no mind of her own. She could have at least taken a guess at what it is. Any right wing parrot could have guessed it is essentially Bush's support of preemptive war. She is so STUPID!

Anyone who would pick her to be our President in his stead, is unfit to be President himself. McCain is a reckless sellout! Is that the definition of "maverick"?
