It is time to come out strong and hard against mccain and his policies

Biden or others can attack mcccain and palin

but Obama must stay on point, and contrast himself with mccain, and exactly what mccain will do

If Obama brings up palin, the only context he should bring it up, is that it is mccain running for president, NOT palin

It is where mccain stands on the issues, that will govern the next 4 years

It is mccain who voted 90% with bush
mccain who wanted non-ending war
mccain who wants to privitize social security and medicare
mccain who has lobbyists leading his campaign
mccain who is an extension of the bush policies

everything else is a distraction

2. She IS running for president, because McCain looks older and more tired every time I see him!

She'll be stepping in (lord help us all!) during the first three years, I'm afraid.

10. WRONG

We're running against the boh of them- and their poor character, poor judgment, dishonesty, corruption and inpetitude.

Not to mention their fundamentalist "values" -that are so far from the mainstream that they'd make reasonable folks cringe- if they knew what was up.

14. The guy's old, had cancer and is likely in the early stages of dementia
It's an issue- and I can tell you that my friends in Britain and Australia at least are appalled (and seriously creeped out) by the implications.

As interestingly enough, a conservative family member who lives in a Southern state.

16. Again I agree with everything you say, and again I say what you say is about mccain
and why mccain shouldn't be elected

5. Things changed when she entered
the race. It seems some are so enthralled with the thought of her that they are willing to overlook McCain's obvious flaws.
She must be exposed for who she is and what she really believes. I don't really care who does it-just so it gets done. The Obama campaign is smart. They know what to do.

8. The only one entralled is the media. The truth is mccain is the one who is running for president
what would I want to waste time attacking an insignifant extremist?

The 527's or others can do that, not Obama

He should attack who he is running against

6. I agree that the OBAMA CAMPAIGN needs to stay on message
and keep after McSame's lack of judgement and failed RW policies.

I also think that Palin is fair game and those of us not affiliated with any campaign have not only the right but the duty as citizens to bring attention to the grave danger that a Palin vice presidency/presidency could pose to the US.

We're not gonna back off, if that's what you were hoping.

She's running to become #1 in line for succession to the presidency.

12. She's wants to be a heartbeat away from becoming the Pres, and McCain has 1 foot in the grave
Edited on Fri Sep-12-08 04:40 PM by Major Hogwash
So, in essence, yes, she is claiming that she is qualified to be the President of the United States of America.
Think about that for a minute.

FDR died only 82 days after being re-elected in 1944 when Truman became the President.
Think about that for a minute.

It makes her relevant, like it or not.

13. Didn't you get the GOP memo..it's Palin/McCain now
Yes...I'm sick of hearing about this woman who scares me to death. McCain can't even campaign without her anymore. He needs her stuck to his side. I'm trying to fiture out who is teaching who.

We need to ignore her. She does represent change though...a change back to the dark ages. No EPA, Abortions illegal, and maybe even a new world war. Now that is putting America first.

15. the only way obama can gain on bringing up palin is...
in the context of mccains bad judgment, sayin shes got national security cred because of energy and being close to russia (on the map)... then he needs to raise the point about mccain KNOWING people place more weight on his vp because hes of advanced age and questionable health. i think this would be a winning argument against palin, although an indirect one, essentially.
