I mean, damn. How is McCain going to wiggle out of this one? Correct me if I'm missing something here,
but thie is HUGE is it not?

How about a blistering sequal to Obama's new McCain lobbyist ad, connecting these dots? anyone?

Talking Points Memo | September 12, 2008 05:50 PM

Here's something that could complicate the McCain-Palin reform message a bit: It turns out that McCain's national finance co-chair, Wayne Berman, is a paid lobbyist, and has been one for years, for two of the oil companies that are at the center of the sex, drugs and oil scandal enveloping the Interior Department.

One of McCain's high-ranking campaign officials also lobbied for the companies for years -- during time periods when the scandal has unfolded -- up until he joined the McCain campaign in the spring.

1. This will go nowhere. M$M won't touch it.
They have their orders. NO MORE REPORTING ON REPUBICAN SEX SCANDALS.

Back to adulatory reporting about Palin's wonderful children and how she opposed the Bridge to Nowhere and how she held off a Russian invasion from Siberia by throwing rocks at them.

12. Especially since the M$M has been pretty consistently airing ads from both sides.
How could they totally ignore it. I'm sure it would at least get some play and/or mention
by KO and Rachael; and then it might catch on with others as well.

14. Yeah, Don't Underestimate...
News networks' love for a sex scandal. They just need someone to put it out there: what's a Maverick doing with friends like these? If a democrat brings it up, it will be a story, but don't expect any news network to bring it up themselves... that would be like... JOURNALISM or something...

2. Right... He's so injured that he can't use a keyboard, BUT...
...he can pull carp from out of his butt, and throw it up the flagpole. The man is so full of BS, he has to get rid of it somehow. This is the only way to explain his campaign.

10. Obama will most likely add it to the lobby scandal list

There have been ads about McCain's connection to lobbyists before; they will use this in the future, I am sure.

11. Bad timing for this to come out, though
Friday news dump time, plus a historical hurricane to cover it up. By Monday morning it will have gone down the memory hole.

15. Its only HUGE if the M$M makes it huge. Look at Bush**. He's done enough
crap over 8 years, he should be under the jail by now. Instead..he's decided to REALLY GO AFTER BIN LADEN THIS TIME (tm).

16. McCain was involved (chaired?) the Abrahmof hearings and then
attempted to hide certain info. I've forgotten the details but their could be a link to this.
