7. Some people say they are Democrats, but you'd never know it from their behavior on election day
Beware the repug in Dem clothing.

Whether the woman Secretary of State in No Carolina is a true Democrata or not, I have no way of knowing.

3. CO - Mike Coffmann - RETHUGLICAN
And running for a seat in the House District 6. The sad part, he'll probably win this since it's around the rural areas outside of Denver.

His deputy in charge of the election recently resigned.

8. West Virginia
Betty Ireland is the only Republican in a state-wide office, and is retiring when her first term ends in January 2009.


(I keep trying to tell you guys -- West Virginia is a Democratic state! Our House of Delegates has 72 Dems and 28 Reps; the Senate has 23 Dems and 11 Reps. The latest poll has McCain leading by 5 points. In June he was leading by 8 points. Imagine what would happen if Obama actually campaigned here!)
