Would we be able to "swift boat" McCain

by drawing parallels between his capture and time held in a North Vietnamese prison and most inmates being held and tortured without trial in Guantanamo Bay? The only difference I can see is that he was aerial bombing innocent civilians in their own country and the Guantanamo Bay inmates were defending themselves against the enemy in their own country.

Also, after listening to a reasonable amount of Charlie Gibson's interview with Sarah Palin, I now feel that she has taken a lot of pressure of blondes.

2. Why Negative Campaign Probably Won't Work

The point of negative campaign is to depress turnout and participation, not to change minds.

Negative ads actually depress participation by both sides, regardless of who runs them.

Since Dem turnout is "softer" than Pug, they tend to use it more often and it works better for them.
