FYI There is an Canadian election campaign going on right now too...
And what a difference in how the Canadian media cover the election compared to the American media.

If a politician spouts lies like Mccain has he would be tarred and feathered. How can 2 countries so close geographically and culturally be so different in their politics?

Boggles the mind.

The corrupt act that would get you impeached in Minnesota
in Louisiana would get you canonized (or tarred) as a goody 2-shoes.
