"Voters won't care about her views on the issues, they'll just want to know if she shares their values."

7. God, even Torie Clark is being tougher on her than DD
Edited on Fri Sep-12-08 09:57 PM by BeyondGeography
She's so thrilled she mentioned Title IX...Clarke, meantime, said Palin's parsed answers made her sound like another politician.

25. Does anybody remember watching Torie Clarke during those first days
of the Iraq war? I remember developing this fascination with her wardrobe. Every day she would be wearing some new POWER suit, oftentimes in some startling color. And watching her spin, spin away...it was truly impressive.

I had asked if this was Meyers earlier in the thread, and indeed, it looks like it is. What did we do to deserve these shitty Democrats? I wish that Paul Begala could have been one instead of her...so many saboteurs.

15. It's beyond fucked up
Edited on Fri Sep-12-08 10:11 PM by Sidney J Mussburger
So many of these Dem talking heads couldn't care less if Obama lost the election because they'd be out of a job in the near future. A new Democratic Administration means new talking heads to replace the old ones. Money is the root of all evil, including our own party.

14. Am I the only one on the planet that knows
that Hillary did not want the job?

I was/am a HUGE HRC supporter, but Obama has a play here (should he choose to use) that he ran against his own party (not entirely true, as I felt that Dean backed Obama all the way from his days in the IL State Senate) in taking on the presumptive nominee of the Clinton machine.

I think HRC will stay in the Senate and do her work there. JMO.

Edited on Fri Sep-12-08 10:17 PM by BeyondGeography
She overlooks Palin's extremism on the issues and uses her mentioning Title IX as proof of her crossover appeal to women. DeeDee harbors ill will from the primaries, one can't help but conclude.

26. DeeDee is a DLC/Clinton operative,
as are James Carville,Paul Begala, and probably Donna Brazile (who is also Rove's buddy).

60% of the time they argue the Democratic position, but 40% of the time they join the Republicans to support the status quo. Quite remarkable, isn't it? And I'd bet that they think the television audience is buying their act.

Didn't see the show. Merely reacting to the quote in the OP which seems a pretty straightforward description of a presidential election.
