Maybe Obama is waiting until the debates to call McCain a...
A LIAR to his FACE. Would that just take over the news cycle? Wouldn't the media have to cover it and wouldn't that be a moment that everyone would be talking about?

The people would be all over the internet looking for why he's a liar and Obama could put out tons of commercials showing all of McCain's lies. It would stick.

It could be the game changer for sure. How could all the lies be walked back with good Obama ads, democratic 527's and McCain would be done.

He could say something like "I never would have thought a man that has been through all that you have would have turned into such a liar""Your sitting here lying to America and you know it,that's not country first".

1. That would be something.
I can see it now. Obama says it, the crowd reaction is HUGE, and McCain just sits there stuttering.

2. I'm saying no on this... these guys are in the same league even
if they don't play on the same team. In the NFL, only rookies go after other players like that. The issues will bear us out in any debate. At least that's what I believe.

3. Sorry to disappoint..
When have the Dems gone on the offensive? The never will. Obama is rolling over like Kerry did.

4. I figured he might do it
Because his statements have included the word "lying" in them as if it's a trial balloon for the use of the word. They even stuck it in an ad by using as a quote from a news outlet. I've never seen a campaign do that so I figured Obama may be waiting for that.It would be something if he did it. I think it could be a game changer.

5. Not sure how this would play out
Didn't help Dole in '88 when he told GHW Bush on national TV to "stop lying about my record." I realize we are dealing with a totally different dynamic now, but I can already hear the RW noise machine cranking up charges of an "angry, militant Obama".

Then again Obama is probably going to have to do something to rattle McVain in the debates so maybe he should roll the dice
