I we stopped at an Obama campaign office in Clearwater, FL
today. All they had were paper stickers on a roll (like the ones you get that say "I voted"). No buttons, no magnets, no bumper stickers, no yard signs. A guy there gave me a yard sign from his trunk (he had two). I donated $20.00. The sign is now in our yard, but very close to the house.

I have a car magnet, but my wife doesn't.

2. Were they just out of stuff?
Or had they not received supplies from the campaign? The former would be good news, the latter, not so good.

9. I don't think Scientologists are allowed to wear disguises. They
have uniforms. When we first started vacationing down here I thought there was some police training academy downtown because the uniforms then were navy and light blue.

5. I asked about signs yesterday in Ohio
they told me that many communities have a 30 day rule that you cannot put out signs before 30 days before the elections. Therefore they do not distribute en masse until a few weeks from now.

They were out of bumper stickers.

14. You can order items directly from this website
http://store.barackobama.com/

They said 1-2 weeks, but we got our lawn signs and car magnets within a week.

16. Arkansas State Democratic HQ was out of Obama items - sent me to local printing company.
They had a whole table of buttons, bumper stickers and other stuff. Of course, it's a money-making thing for them (they also had McCain stuff), but it was worth the $1.00 to get a bumper sticker.
