McLobbyist.com (Obama's new site)

McLobbyist.com

Here's a small sample - but you have to go see the rest!

The McCain Seven

John McCain has had at least 177 lobbyists running his campaign and raising money for him. The McCain Seven—all lobbyists—control the campaign filling roles from senior foreign policy advisor and finance co-chair all the way up to head of command, campaign manager. The McCain Seven make sure special interests come first.

Sarah Palin's Lobbyists

Palin may not yet be as notorious as the influence peddlers in Washington, but she’s working to fit right in. She’s surrounded herself with associates of Jack Abramoff and Ted Stevens—some of the biggest names in the corruption game—and scored huge pork for Alaska in the process. With cronies like those, Sarah Palin and John McCain have a lot in common.

3. Unfortunately...
Barack undercut this message by giving a shout-out to a statehouse lobbyist during his event in Concord, NH last night. The NH political desk is making some stupid moves.

5. Huh?
How does that alleged shout-out even compare to McLobbyist's activities?

6. It doesn't, unless you really really want Obama to lose
For the sake of your online pride.

In which case, everything Obama does will elicit from you a post somewhere that starts like this:

"Unfortunately...."

21. The links need updating.
The domain www.mclobbyist.com is up and running correctly. I guess the original site was a subsite of something else.

go to http://www.mclobbyist.com - that'll work.

Mark.

26. The lobbyist angle is idiotic
Every time I see one of Obama's lobbyist commercials I want to smash the screen. He might as well give the cash to me.

No one cares about lobbyists. I've hosted debate watching parties since 1996 and literally every time that topic comes up, the apolitical types say, "Everyone does it."
