The Party of Abraham Lincoln?
Ahnold just said it. Actually, it was the southern conservatives that killed Lincoln. Today the southern conservatives are the lifeblood of the Reichpublican party.

4. It's true. Even racist right wing leaders Helms and Thurmond
were KKK members AND Democrats just 57 short years ago. Soon they took the racist ideals of the KKK and packed their bags and headed to the Republican party. Now they make up the majority of their party. The Republicans can have them. We have no use for them.

5. Very true.
That's why I say I'm a Liberal before I'm a Democrat.

The contemporary Republicans are the current home of conservative ideology, therefore they have nothing in common with Lincolns party.

3. And he loved Nixon's politics....guess he really liked Watergate,
he thought it was an action film. What an idiot, he is WHY we don't want to alter our Constitution one iota, so that fascist egomaniacs from other countries can't come here and promote more dishonesty in politics. Nixon was the pinnacle of the repugs dishonestly, I guess out of all the similarities, Dumbya probably is very much like Nixon.

7. But Mr Lincoln didn't run as a Republican in his last campaign. . .
he was the candidate for the National Union Party.

(After all, we must be honest. . . especially in regards to Mr LIncoln. And whaddaya know, there's something else that distinguishes Mr Lincoln from his supposed heirs: He was honest in everything he did and said.)
