It's the economy, stupid...
Those words apply more now than even. This should be the guiding phrase of the Obama campaign from here on out. I'm not saying ignore other issues, but they should be beating the McCain campaign and Bush administration over the head with this daily, hell, hourly. The news is going to be filled with non-stop horror stories between now and the election with one investment firm after another either going bankrupt or being bailed out on the taxpayers dime, and this is all due to the Bush administration and deregulation supported primarily by Phil Graham, who has been McCain's chief economic adviser, who called us a "nation of whiners", and would almost certainly end up with a cabinet level position in a McCain administration, quite possibly treasury secretary. (Damn that was one long sentence!) When times are tough, most people will vote with their pocketbook, they just need to hear and be convinced of the truth. They need to know that this is a republican mess, and that John McCain was part of the problem, and that Barack Obama will NOT raise the taxes of most Americans and will be a part of the solution. They need to be shouting about the economy from the rooftops and mountaintops from now until election day.

3. Well
if Bill Clinton starts to campaign for Obama, it's the perfect opportunity for him to use his line.

4. Not quite....

I could care less about the economy as long as the Constitution is still there. (Well I care, but seriously would you rather live in a Depression knowing your Constitutional rights still exist, or would you rather have better economic times but live in a fascist country?)
