EVERY damn cable news station I've hit today...
has been playing John McSame's comments from this morning incessantly. Change the channel? Get another extended McSame replay. Change it back to the original channel? Get that same damn replay. I know Obama spoke in CO earlier - actually saw a 2-second image on MSRNC once! This is pissing me off. The complicity is blatant and unconscionable. :grr:

1. If they're playing the comments where McCain says the economy is "fundamentally strong"...then GOOD!

6. They are doing that, but also the crap where
he's claiming that Obama is the one hurling nothing but negative attacks. The brain-dead general public only hears the bull - and Whora O'Donnell sweetly telling them that "Gee, isn't John McCain right about the fundamentals being sound?" If they won't play Obama's message, and won't discuss the other half of the story, how many of them will actually do any homework to get the real picture. Sheeple.

16. Believe me.. the only line getting any play today with the LIVs is the "fundamentals are sound" gaff

2. Actually, a little while ago I saw a clip on MSNBC of Obama commenting
on McCain's remark about the economy. They put it up right after the talking head had interviewed the financial reporter Erin someone who essentially agreed with McCain. I swear. It's like we've gone down the rabbit hole. Did they start the super collider up without telling us?

7. That was Erin Burnett from CNBC
They do about 5 to 1 in terms of time given to McSame vs Obama.

4. And of course, none of them calling him...
on the fact that he voted to repeal the Glass-Steagall act (which repeal was directly responsible for the current financial crisis and the subprime mortgage fiasco, in a sense, since it prevented commercial banks from acting as investment banks); or mentioning that his economic adviser Phil Gramm was the principal author and sponsor of the act that repealed Glass-Steagall.

11. But that would mean holding him accountable.
That just won't do!

13. Thank you! Palin's answer to "Charlie" spoke volumes...
When asked what changes McCain Palin would make to fix the economy, Palin said they'd take government out of the way and let the people handle things... in other words, more deregulation.

Yes, I see. We all know that the way to put out a raging gasoline fire is to douse it with gasoline!

20. Why would he vote for that?
He believes that borrower/lenders like Keating should be left alone by regulators, and he backed up this belief with action.

10. They are trying to help McCain. But, my theory is that the more
McCain's lying face is on the tube, the worse it is for him.

17. I can only dream that this would be true, and we have
to find some better ways to get Obama's message heard. The MSM sure isn't going to help.
