What is Wrong with McCain's face?

I saw it earlier, briefly and got a better view in the opening moments on Hardball... You can see clearly that McCain has 3 vertical scatches on the left side of his face, near his temple, kinda next to his ear. He looks like a bear took a swipe on him.

I didn't se any bandages, so I don't really think it was a surgical procedure, and I looked around for any news about it. Nothing. It looked a bit gruesome.

Did anyone else see it? Is there a picture?

He had part of a lymph node removed when he had malignant melanoma 8 years ago.

He's had melanoma twice actually. This is NOT a healthy man.

This was a fresh looking abrasion (3 actually) on his face.

That IS where his surgical scars from his melanoma should be.

Maybe they did something at a checkup? A biopsy or something?

Something happened to his face,that's for sure.

Those scars were surgically induced. He has undergone extensive surgery to remove the 4th recurrence of melanoma, a deadly form of skin cancer, which, if left untreated, is a death sentence. That's why his face is asymmetrical--no doubt he had to have several lymph nodes removed, as well, and would account for the puffiness in his left cheek/jaw. He has to follow up with his oncologist every 3 months to make sure it hasn't recurred or metastasized. It's also why he always wears a baseball cap and long sleeves. Of course, the ball cap isn't really as effective as a broad-brimmed one would be, but he also used sunscreen. The cancer is the main reason everyone is so concerned about his pick of Sarah Palin as VP. His chances of surviving aren't really all that great, and she could end up being the Prez (God forbid) if they get elected. Hope this helps. Good question, btw. It looked like what you might get if someone scratched you with longish fingernails. Maybe he got too cozy with Mooseburger.

Those marks are the scar tissue where Karl Rove has been surgically implanted into the neural pathways between McCain's brain and his mouth.

If you do an extensive internet search you can uncover photos of the severe scarring on McCain's ass where surgeons removed the MSM's glossy lips.

And it has a couple of big dents in it, and it's attached to somebody who's a fucking idiot!

I've gone through several frames where the lines appear. They are coincidental with the edge of his face and the muscle line of his jaw. The smaller lines are compression edge echos of his jaw muscle. The larger line is a compression edge echo of the edge of his face. There are several frames where he turns a full profile with that side of his face fully exposed to the camera. The lines fade during profile and return when he faces the camera. And I was really hoping these were scratches from either Cindy or Sarah slapping the bejesus out of him too.

Hopefully someone will put a photo up soon, but I saw it too.
