McCain wants to drag Hillary into the middle of the campaign...
and so he questions her patriotism when she refused to be on the same stage as Palin. He wants to use Hillary to fire up the base even more.

Am I wrong?

1. He wants a distraction from the economy melting down.
Hillary will be too smart to give him one. She'll stay on message and point out that McCain doesn't care about the economy and wants to throw a hissy fit over this.

2. You're probably right.
But he might turn off those precious "white women" the MSM keeps talking about if he attacks too hard, which would be good for us.

Palin will probably be stalking her for a couple more weeks, just to get that one photo-op.

8. I find that very unsurprising for Palin to be that way...
scary, too.

4. The only two Democrats who fight from start to finish are Bill and Hillary.
Be careful, old man.

9. He questioned her patriotism? When? I'm out of the loop, apparently. Maybe it will wake up some more
PUMA's to the reality of McCain/Palin.

14. Here is what Andrea Mitchell quoted..

Mitchell just reported that in response to Hillary canceling John McCain said that Hillary Clinton's
absence from this event is because, "This shows that Hillary doesn't care about the danger of Iran, and
Governor Palin does."

questioning Hillary's patriotism?

He's getting the shit kicked out of him by Obama/Biden - perhaps he thinks he can do better against Hillary - the poor dumb bastard.

16. Can you say desperate?
What they are trying to say in "code"is that she is an anti-Israel for not going. More "fear and smear"

But, earlier, in what pissed me off even more, is that folks here on DU were calling her a necon, blah, blah, blah......

She should have only been complimented for not appearing on a stage with Palin, as Palin would have said empty nice things about her again and if Hillary had shown a modicum of grace and smiled or nodded those same folks would have been all over her for it.

Glad to see all the nice things said, too, it's just when I saw someone put a devil emoticon on a post about Hill today, it really pissed me off!

17. He'll use her any way he has to because he's desperate.
But it will not work. He had hoped to bring along some women with the Palin pick but that isn't working. And it certainly won't help if he continues bashing Hillary. All those voters and some more besides will high tail it out of the repuke column.
