the wingnuts are acting like they already have this election won. what WE need to do is,stay focused, keep talking up kerry, put on our bumper stickers, wear our shirts, etc. let them be overconfident. and in november we will prevail!

1. Unsustainable unreality
Who cares what they think? When later reports show them appalled, disheartened, wringing their hands, we'll be too busy to worry about their points of view or woes.

Dogged determination and hard work and leave them to their temporary delusions.

2. Yes, I was looking a free republic recently
They all are convinced Bush will win easily. One post headline read, "It's over" The more they say this and believe it, the less likely some of them will vote. "Hey, it's in the bag, why bother?"

3. Right. And less likely they will register voters, or drive them to polls
Getting out the vote will be very important. The Republicans were surprised in 2000 at the Democrat get out the vote effort and have cranked up a massive one this time that needs to be matched and exceeded.

5. Yea I hope they get more overconfident and relax
By the same token, if Kerry is slightly down in the polls it will motivate his supporters to get out and vote and do other election day activism.

4. Well, Kerry is at his best when
people think he's a goner, so hopefully, we'll see that fighting Kerry we always hear about and actually saw during the primaries.
