3. Gotta be a repuke.. 'cause then it takes Palin off the hook for any emails that are found
in which she is clearly breaking the law. The McCain campaign will claim the emails are bogus and the hackers sent the emails.

I don't believe for a SECOND that a democrat did it.

No. Way.

The same kid sitting in his underwear in his mother's basement eating Cheetos that picked Palin for VP.

17. Honestly.. probably neither a Dem or a Republican..
I have a feeling it's probably going to turn out to be some punk kids who aren't even old enough to vote. 3 or 4 15 year olds sitting around in their basement with more brains then anything. They probably thought it would be cool.. they hacked in.. and now they don't know what to do.

As soon as her yahoo address was publicly known, she should have shut it down 5 minutes later. Anyone who thinks that a yahoo account is "secure" is an idiot. ;)

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anonymous_(group)

The self-styled Anonymous (used as a mass noun) is a label and Internet meme adopted within Internet culture, especially on the web site 4chan, to represent the actions of Internet users acting anonymously toward a given agenda. The term is used in phrases such as "We are Anonymous. We are Legion. We do not forgive. We do not forget."<1>

In 2008, specific actions were undertaken by specific group, groups, or organizations, also self-named as "Anonymous", and often associated with websites and chat systems on the Internet. The general public's mass introduction to the group began with Project Chanology, a protest against the Church of Scientology. The most visible element of the protest was mass protests of many Church sites worldwide, the first being held on February 10, 2008.<2> Anonymous, as a protest group, lacks a visible hierarchical structure or leaders, instead relying on individuals to contribute to the group.<3> On September 2, 2008, Variety Magazine stated that Anonymous is said to have about 9000 people,<4> which could be a reference to the internet meme "over 9000" (a meme derived from the anime Dragon Ball Z).

edit (why do links to wikipedia articles get mucked-up?)

21. yeah...'Anonymous' holds some pretty active 'rallies' against the scientologists..
down here in the St. Pete/Clearwater area...the Scientologists have a STRONG economic presence...

all the Anonymous folks harass and get harassed heavily...they wear masks (like Halloween) and the scientologists try to get the state to consider them the same as the Klan...

except, the Anonymous folks KNOW that the 'church' will take pictures and research their identities and do what any good 'church' would do...harass them non-stop....

it is always interesting when these two groups go at each other in person...
