.... Colorado’s Rove-appointed U.S. Attorney, Troy Eid, is complaining in the Denver Post that the resulting negative coverage is all the fault of anonymous liberal bloggers:

Long before respected mainstream news organizations, including The Denver Post, got so many of their story leads from anonymous Internet scribblers whose veracity and competency cannot by definition be verified.

What a joke.

By definition, the MSM can verify the veracity of anything they choose to, by using the time-honored techniques of CHECKING THE RECORD, DOUBLE CHECKING THEIR SOURCES, et-f***ing-cetera.

Too bad they gave up doing that years ago, and the bloggers had to fill the vacuum.

What is also amusing about this, for a few years there, the most influential blogger out there was one Matt Drudge. They never seemed to have a problem with him, though, nor did they care that his stories were un-verified and often wrong, because he promoted their agenda.

Cry me a river, a-hole.
