Three cheers to my Union brothers and sisters for shouting down McSame today
McCain tells Grand Rapids audience economy can be fixed

McCain made an unscheduled stop at General Motors Corp.’s Orion assembly plant in the morning before joining his running mate, Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin for a town hall meeting in Grand Rapids.

He told a crowd of supporters (WHAT A CROCK OF SHIT) in a question and answer session in downtown Grand Rapids that the economy can be fixed.

“I reject the doom and gloom that says our nation is in decline because our best days are ahead of us. We will restore America, we will restore this economy,” McCain said.

At the GM plant, McCain spoke to about 100 workers after a short tour.

And those workers were shouting

OBAMA 08 OBAMA 08

.

Makes me shed a tear with pride.

Hundreds protest McCain appearance in Grand Rapids

Hundreds of protesters chanted and carried signs outside a downtown Grand Rapids auditorium that is hosting a campaign event for Republican presidential candidate John McCain and his running mate Sarah Palin.

Several thousand people filled the Ford Field House at Grand Rapids Community College on Wednesday evening in anticipation of their appearance. McCain earlier in the day visited a Detroit-area auto plant.

Many of the protesters' signs expressed opposition to McCain's support of the Iraq war.

Others claimed that a vote for McCain would be a vote for continuing President Bush's policy in Iraq.

10. None of the auto workers in Lake Orion plant looked
happy to see him, even the ones who kept their mouths shut. Very few smiles and frigid body language.

12. I hope Joe or Obama goes there for contrast I hope so
I will bet the plant STOPS because of the number of people who WANT to see them. I will bet the 100 or so that were there were there because their BOSSES said your LUNCH will be spent being a crowd, but what you do AFTER the speech is up to you.

13. Has Obama been to a Michigan plant yet? Now would be
the time to do it. A great economic speech delivered in a factory filled with pissed off auto workers during Michigan's worst economy since the depression would get a lot of mileage around here.

14. Not really the way it works

usually they'll allow two people from each team (there are lots of teams) to be present at any press event. Its up to someone else to cover for them while they are away. The line stops for nothing.

I work at the Lordstown assembly plant in north east Ohio. You'd be surprised how many people are planning on voting for McDick. I've let it be know that even though the union reps cant tell you how to vote, I can, and if I catch even a wiff of McDick-itis, you automatically become my enemy and I will fight you at every turn. There are lots of ways to fuck people up around here and I relish the chance to screw some of these idiots.

I feel the same way you do and two people today at work told me McGramps is more "trustworthy" than that Obama (translation, McSame is white).

I put them on my do not talk to list.

18. That's chilling
I think Ohio is going to be hard for Obama to win. The comment I heard before the Dem primary was "I won't vote if Obama is on the ticket" , and, "He's not my nigger"
