Message to the Kerry camapign: Kerry as a vacillator, finger in the wind

etc. This is exactly what the Republican tried to do to Clinton, suggest that he governed by polls and changed his position according to what he thought the people wanted to hear. IT DIDN'T WORK!! Why?
BECAUSE CLINTON DID NOT FLIP-FLOP. The campaign needs to remind the voters (and the media) that no matter how they tried to paint this picture of Clinton, he was STEADFATST, he ignored the media and the polls and did what he thought was right. He stuck to his economic program of raising taxes on the wealthy, giving more tax breaks to working men and women, cutting government spending, balanceing the budget, creating a surplus, taking on Kosovo, finishing the Bush I castastrophe in Bosnia and Serbia, going after the firts attackers of the WTC, catching them and bringing them to justice, getting the OKC bomber, getting the ME peace process closer than ever to resolution, using his influence in the Irish situtation. He did all this in the face of smear attacks, accusations of being a flip-flopper, accusations of murder, illegal stock actions. People need to be reminded that these Republican are trying to do the same thing to Kerry...make him out to be something that they define. Remind them of how deceitful and WRONG they were about Clinton and his administration. They were liars then, they are lying now!!
